The major purpose of this project is to develop a more reliable method of screening for hypothyroidism, the most common health problem for PBGV's as identified in our 2000 PBGV Health Survey. The Canine Health Foundation has invited a number of Breed Clubs to participate in this research project being proposed by Duncan Ferguson, VMP, PhD, University of Georgia.
